Disclaimer: Remember to consult your healthcare practitioner when establishing your optimal dose, as it will be highly dependent on the strain of cannabis and your individual needs. If you find your edible is stronger than you’re used to, consider consuming less or reducing the ratio of cannabis to non-cannabis ingredients. For example, it may be advisable to use only half infused and half non-infused butter when making edibles. Keep all cannabis products away from children and pets; make sure they are safely stored and clearly marked. Always ‘start low and go slow.’
A warm and hearty bowl of soup would be pretty tasty right about now. Lucky for you, it’s National Homemade Soup Day and we have a great recipe that uses Aurora’s Double-Milled Decarb (DMD) cannabis!
Ingredients:
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 stalks celery, chopped
2 carrots, sliced
1 onion, chopped
salt and pepper
2 Tbsp tomato paste
6 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
1/2 pound green beans, halved
398 ml can chickpeas, rinsed
1 cup frozen peas
1/4 cup pesto
Your recommended dose of Aurora DMD cannabis.
Recipe:
Heat the oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add the celery, carrots, onion, ½ tsp salt and ¼ tsp pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, until softened, 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste and cook until slightly darkened for 1 minute.
Add the vegetable broth, green beans, chickpeas and frozen peas. Simmer until the vegetables are tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Top with pesto and DMD.
