Summer is upon us, and here at Aurora we want everyone to kick off the season on the right foot. It’s a busy month for all of us – only one month to go before legalization – but we like to think that there’s always time for cannabis events. In between sunny trips to the beach and afternoon picnics, why not drop by a couple of these? We can’t guarantee you’ll get some sun, but you’re sure to learn a thing or two.

What: Canadian Cannabis Summit

Where: Calgary (Globe Cinema)

The Canadian Cannabis Summit represents a unique opportunity to bring together cannabis professionals, policy makers, community leaders, investors, and more. The first of its kind in Western Canada, this conference caters to both budding industry members and those who already know the ropes. There’s something for everyone.

What: O’ Cannabiz Conference & Expo

When: June 8-9, 2018

Where: Toronto (The International Centre)

The O’ Cannabiz Conference & Expo features 50,000 ft² of exhibit space, over 200 booths, and 130 world class speakers. Exploring the latest regulatory landscape in Canada, this conference is a chance to meet with industry professionals to learn, network, and advocate. We’re at a crossroads in terms of cannabis legislation: you won’t want to miss out on this historic event.

Outside of cannabis-specific events, Aurora will also be involved in a number of other initiatives this month. Most notably, we are extremely honoured to be sponsoring Pride festivals in Edmonton (June 8-17) and Vancouver (June 23-Aug 5)!

Aurora is a proud supporter of the LGBTQ2S+ community and we are excited to be providing barrier-free accessibility via ASL interpretation, raised viewing platforms, accessible toilets, and complimentary parking for those with mobility challenges.
