Aurora is thrilled to be participating in the Quebec-based Marché du Cannabis Conference 2018, the very first of its kind to be hosted by one of the largest economic newspapers in the province, Les Affaires.
Over the span of three days, the conference includes a range of panel discussions and presentations from experts in the emerging cannabis industry, delving into the legal and financial sectors, quality assurance, consumer trends, product marketing, and more.
Day 1 – Monday, April 9
The first day features a tour of Aurora Vie, our 40,000 square foot facility located in the Montreal suburb of Pointe-Claire. Lead by Aurora’s National Director of Government Relations, Andrea Paine, and Quality Assurance Manager, Francois St-Louis, the tour allows participants the rare opportunity to witness the inner workings of one of Aurora’s production facilities.
Day 2 – Tuesday, April 10 – Montreal
Aurora is a proud sponsor of the conference’s networking lunch which will be taking place at the Montreal Sheraton Hotel. The meal will be followed by a panel discussion on the logistical, regulatory, and cultural challenges of the cannabis industry, featuring representatives from three licensed producers based in Quebec.
Day 3 – Wednesday, April 11 – Montreal
The final day offers two half-day workshops for participants, beginning with an examination of the legal and practical considerations of cannabis cultivation in the morning followed by a discussion of best product marketing practices in the afternoon.
As Quebec’s first province-wide conference with the aim of developing strategic business relationships within the cannabis industry, the Marché du Cannabis Conference marks a historic event – one that Aurora is incredibly proud and excited to be a part of.
